“DBIM-Compliant DAHD Website Will Strengthen Digital Presence and Ensure Accessible, Transparent, Citizen-Centric Services, Says the Union Minister

In a significant step toward strengthening India’s digital governance ecosystem, the Department Animal Husbandry & Dairying (DAHD), Government of India, today launched its DBIM-compliant website, developed in alignment with the Digital Brand Identity Manual (DBIM) Version 3.0 introduced by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
Launching the revamped website, the Hon’ble Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying & Panchayati Raj, Government of India, Shri Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh, said: “The launch of the DBIM-compliant website of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying is an important step towards strengthening our digital presence and making government services more accessible, transparent, and citizen-centric. This initiative aligns with the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji for Digital India and Minimum Government, Maximum Governance.”
The Union Minister congratulated the DAHD IT team and NIC for their efforts in making this possible. Further, he encouraged all stakeholders to explore the revamped website of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying and make use of its enhanced features to access information on livestock health, animal husbandry schemes, dairy development, livestock management, and departmental initiatives and services.
The newly launched website enhances accessibility, uniformity, and ease of navigation for users, featuring advanced search, multi-language support through Bhashini, persona-led navigation, and centralized content management.
The DAHD website serves as a one-stop digital hub showcasing the flagship schemes and initiatives of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, including the Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund (AHIDF), Rashtriya Gokul Mission (RGM), National Livestock Mission (NLM), and Livestock Health and Disease Control Programme (LHDCP), among others. The website provides easy access to scheme-related information, guidelines, resources, and relevant digital platforms, enabling stakeholders to stay informed about departmental initiatives and their implementation.
