Department of Telecommunications (DoT) celebrated Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 campaign from 17.09.2026 to 02.10.2026 with the theme “Swachhata Mein Sahbhag, Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat”. The campaign drove a widespread national movement by actively rallying citizens and mobilizing government personnel—ranging from senior officials to staff across the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) headquarters, regional offices, field units, and associated public sector undertakings. Together, the Department and its PSUs/field offices organized extensive cleanliness drives specifically dedicated to transforming and restoring neglected areas and designated Cleanliness Target Units (CTUs) throughout the country.
The Swachhata Campaign culminated on 02.10.2026, being observed as Swachh Bharat Diwas, with Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Union Minister of Communications and Development of North Eastern Region planting a tree sapling as part of “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” initiative.
