Prime Minister shares a Sanskrit Subhashitam highlighting agriculture and crops as the foundation of human life

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam today highlighting that agriculture is not merely a means of livelihood, but the fundamental basis of the nourishment of society and the nation.
The Prime Minister posted on X:
“कृषि केवल जीविका का साधन नहीं, बल्कि समाज और राष्ट्र के पोषण का मूल आधार है। हमारे किसान भाई-बहनों का पसीना जब मिट्टी में मिलता है तो अन्न बनकर देशवासियों के जीवन को संबल देता है।
ते कृषिं च सस्यं च मनुष्या उप जीवन्ति।
कृष्टराधिरुपजीवनीयो भवति य एवं वेद॥

Agriculture and crops are the very foundation of human life. One who understands this truth carries out agricultural work properly and through it, society is sustained and nourished.
