Ministry of Women and Child Development, including all Autonomous/ Statutory Bodies under its administrative control, has initiated efforts and finalised action plans & targets to implement Special Campaign 6.0 for improving Swachhata and disposal of pending references from 2nd October – 31st October, 2026, on the lines of the Special Campaigns held in the preceding 5 years.
In accordance with the directions stipulated in the Special Campaign guidelines regarding adoption of Best Practices during the implementation phase of the campaign, an Artificial Intelligence Workshop was conducted for Under Secretary & above-level officers of the Ministry on 17.10.2026 by National e-Governance Division. The workshop was designed as a hands-on programme with approximately 70% of the sessions devoted to the practical use of AI tools. A total of 42 participants, including Secretary, Additional Secretaries, Joint Secretaries and other senior officers of the Ministry, participated in the workshop. The following topics were covered in the workshop:
- Introduction to AI
- Prompt Engineering and AI Tools for Office Productivity
- Hands-on with AI Tools
- Ethical and Responsible use of AI and Sovereign AI
