National Mission on Cultural Mapping (NMCM) and Mera Gaon Meri Dharohar (MGMD)

Under Mera Gaon Meri Dharohar (MGMD) Programme, a key component of the National Mission on Cultural Mapping (NMCM), 6.23 lakh villages have been culturally mapped so far. This data is available on MGMD Portal (https://mgmd.gov.in/).
The State/UT-wise details of villages covered are placed at Annexure-I. In Siddharthnagar district of Uttar Pradesh, 2542 villages have been covered.
MCM primarily undertakes documentation of cultural assets and traditions at the village level and does not have any provision for establishing e-commerce integration for traditional artists and cultural practitioners.
