Telangana’s IT and Industries Minister, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, asserted that the hopes and aspirations of the people of Telangana form the core agenda of the Congress government. He said that to divert public attention during the by-election, the BRS and BJP are spreading misinformation against the Congress.
Campaigning extensively on Saturday in several localities of Srinagar Colony and Yellareddyguda in support of Jubilee Hills Congress candidate Naveen Yadav, the Minister highlighted the development initiatives undertaken in the last two years, ongoing welfare programmes, and the corrective measures implemented to undo the injustices and failures of the previous BRS regime.
“Our every step is for the future of the next generation and for the progress of the State,” he said, urging voters to support the Congress with discretion and conviction, as only Congress is committed to the welfare of all sections of society.
He criticised that Jubilee Hills constituency suffered severe neglect under the BRS government, stating that basic infrastructure remains inadequate in several colonies and bastis. “Those who ignored you for years now come seeking votes — people must question them,” he appealed to residents.
Calling for the victory of Naveen Yadav, Sridhar Babu said, “He is accessible to the people and understands local issues deeply. Electing him will ensure real development for the constituency and its people.” He assured that the State government will extend full support for the holistic development of Jubilee Hills in the coming days.
He urged the electorate to stand with this people-centric government, which is consistently working for Telangana’s growth and the welfare of all communities. He also appealed to voters to give the Congress a decisive mandate, and thereby teach an appropriate lesson to the BRS and BJP. Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar, Telangana State Library Corporation Chairman Dr. Riaz, and other leaders participated in the campaign.
