Special Angiogram Package at Gleneagles Hospital.
On the occasion of World Heart Day, an awareness program was organized at Gleneagles Hospital, Lakdi-ka-pul, on Monday under the leadership of Dr. Sai Sudhakar, Director & Head, Cath Lab Services.
Dr. Sudhakar highlighted that due to today’s stressful lifestyles, young people are increasingly developing heart diseases once seen only in older adults. He said that factors such as physical strain, unhealthy diet, obesity, and diabetes are contributing to the rise in heart problems.
He emphasized that if detected early, modern treatments are available to manage heart conditions effectively. To support this, Gleneagles Hospital is offering a special angiogram package for one month, in line with the World Health Organization’s theme: “Don’t Miss a Beat – Keep Your Heart Healthy.”
Dr. Sudhakar added that small tests and scans can help in early detection and prevention of heart diseases. He advised the youth to avoid stress, exercise at least ten minutes daily, eat nutritious food, and consume salt, sugar, and oil in moderation.
The program was also attended by Dr. Ajay Joshi, Cardiac Vascular Surgeon, Dr. Pawan Bhatnagar, Interventional Cardiologist, and other specialists from Gleneagles Hospital.
